TOWN are aiming to create an electric atmosphere for the visit of Crewe Alexandra to the Galpharm tomorrow.

The club are urging as many supporters as possible to take their scarves, new and old, to the game and wave them as the team take to the field in the lead-up to kick off.

The classic Elvis song ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love With You’ will then be played for supporters to hold aloft their scarves and sing their hearts out.

Director of business development, Sean Jarvis, explained: “We are trying something new at the Crewe game .

“Simply, we’ll be playing the Elvis song and we’d like everyone to sing and raise their scarves. Some clubs do it brilliantly and it would be terrific if we can achieve a similar effect. I would urge everyone to give it a go.

“If you have not yet bought a scarf, don’t worry, at pre-match and at half time we’ll be firing some free scarves into the crowd with a Master Blaster cannon!”
