HUDDERSFIELD Town's trip to current League I leaders Charlton has been put back to Monday, November 28 (7.45) for live coverage by Sky Sports.

The showdown with Chris Powell’s team was originally scheduled for Saturday 26.

The decision came after Blackburn’s Carling Cup victory over Newcastle on Wednesday put them in the fifth round, which takes place that midweek.

Rovers’ Premier League clash with Stoke was due to be Sky’s November 28 match, but will now be rescheduled because of the cup commitment (the draw takes place at noon tomorrow).

Sky will also screen Town’s home league game against Brentford on Saturday, January 21. It will now kick-off at 5.20 rather than 3.00.

Charlton make the long trek to Hartlepool tomorrow keen to defend a three-point lead over second- placed Town.

Charlton ground out a 2-1 win at Wycombe on Tuesday with a Bradley Wright-Phillips double and Powell said: “It’s good that we can leave our passing game behind and show some character.”
