Hull's Mark Brown will referee Huddersfield Town’s Championship game at Norwich City on Saturday.

The taxi driver also took charge of Town’s Capital One Cup second-round home defeat by Nottingham Forest earlier this season.

It will be his 17th game of the campaign, with three red cards and 31 yellows shown so far.

Brown has been in the middle of Football League matches since 2010.

He progressed through the Northern Counties East and Northern Premier Leagues, then the Conference.

Brown was forced to serve a three-match suspension for comments made to Steven Gerrard via Twitter in February 2010.

The whistler questioned Liverpool’s chance of winning the Premier League title.

His assistant at Carrow Road will be Carl Fitch (Suffolk) and Stephen Ross (Lincolnshire) with Mick Russell (Hertfordshire) the fourth official.
