After beating Birmingham , Huddersfield Town aim to make it a tale of two Cities when they tackle Bristol.

It’s David Wagner’s second home game, and bookies and supporters alike are expecting a first win in front of the John Smith’s Stadium faithful for the head coach.

Without being complacent, and there seems little chance Wagner will allow that, Town, 19th in the Championship, should take all three points.

They have been playing well and face a side below them in the table who are without a win in four and have lost their last two.

Steve Cotterill’s 21st-placed Bristol came up at a canter last season, winning League I by an eight-point margin, but have found the going tough in the second tier.

Jonathan Kodjia of Bristol City

They have signed a success story in Jonathan Kodjia, a French-Ivorian striker whose 15 goals helped Angers to promotion to the top flight last season.

France’s Ligue II Player of the Year cost City £2m, but will repay a big chunk of that fee if he adds to his eight goals already and helps keep the Robins in the Championship.

But last season’s leading goal-getters, skipper Aaron Wilbraham, Aden Flint and Kieran Agard, have found them harder to come by.

Ex-Hull City and Crystal Palace striker Wilbraham topped to club chart with 18 in 2014-15, but has only four this time.

Striker Agard and former Alfreton Town defender Flint each notched 14 last term, but have two and one respectively as they arrive in West Yorkshire.

Claiming a clean sheet as well as a win at Birmingham was pleasing for Wagner, who could have centre-back Joel Lynch back in contention.

The 28-year-old has missed four games through suspension and a hamstring injury but has been back in training for more than a week.

Of course Wagner has lost Dean Whitehead, who faces a possible two months out due to a knee injury.

But he does have options, most obviously Jonathan Hogg and Kyle Dempsey, to come in.

Bristol will be missing on-loan Aston Villa centre-back Nathan Baker through suspension.

But midfielder Marlon Pack is back after a ban as Cotterill’s side seek a second away win of the campaign.

Their first was at high-flying Middlesbrough, another warning to Town that nothing can be taken for granted.
