DETERMINED manager Peter Jackson is warming to the idea of a `big club' pairing in this evening's Carling Cup draw.

The second-round ties will be pulled from the League Cup bag at 5.30pm - live on Sky TV and quickly to be announced on radio.

Town fans returning from Boston will be eager to tune in, as will a manager still thrilled by his team's performance in knocking out First Division Derby County 2-1 at the first stage on Tuesday night.

"It would be brilliant to be drawn at home because our fans would give us a big edge," said Jackson today.

"We are not frightened of being drawn against anybody though, home or away, and if we get one of the Premiership clubs coming in then great - the fans would love that.

"After the way we played against Derby, the lads and the fans are full of confidence and if we could get a big draw, it will just add to the excitement which is already quite high."

The 12 Premier League clubs not in Europe are among 48 clubs in the hat. Second round games are played on September 22 and 23.
