TOWN boss Peter Jackson is hoping Bristol City are up for the FA Cup - but not the league!

Gary Johnson's side have a fourth-round replay away to Middlesbrough on Tuesday.

That followed a 3-3 draw at Ashton Gate and Jackson said: "That was an exciting game, and I'm hoping the prospect of the replay proves to be a distraction."

City are fourth in League I to Town's 11th.

While Jackson's team have won three out of four, City have had two 1-0 defeats on the trot, at home to Cheltenham and away to Scunthorpe.

Jackson watched the latter match, and said: "They might have lost but they will still be tough opponents.

"They are very well organised and they have a lot of height, with Jamie McCombe and Enoch Showunmi a particular danger at set-pieces."

Town beat City 2-1 at the Galpharm earlier in the season, and Jackson added: "We're wary of them, but they will also be wary of us.

"I don't think they will be looking forward to playing us."
