PETER JACKSON is hoping fans will flock to the McAlpine on Friday to give his squad a tumultuous send-off.

His 20-strong squad will leave for Wales at 1.30pm and he's asking the blue and white army to turn out in force.

"I remember when we qualifed for the Autoglass final at Wembley 10 years ago there was a crowd of 200 or 300 to wave us off and it gave all the lads a big lift," said Jackson.

"It would be great if people could come down in their lunch breaks or when they are buying tickets and give the players a cheer.

"The lads have really appreciated the support they've had this season and it's great to know so many tickets have been sold and so many souvenirs have been snapped up at the shop.

"To see some flags and scarves down at the McAlpine on Friday and plenty of fans really would be a tremendous start to a weekend we hope is going to be fantastic for everyone connected with the club."

Town have sold out of adult first-team shirts - including all their supply for summer! - and there's no chance of getting any more before the big date in Cardiff.

Training tops which will be worn exclusively by the squad at the Millennium Stadium are now in stock, however, priced £20 for all sizes and are expected to sell well
