MANAGER Peter Jackson praised the effort of his 10-man team and the youngsters who epitomised the spirit of the Galpharm squad.

Following Efe Sodje's sending-off, Jackson will draft in either Steve Yates or John McCombe against Brentford on Sunday, when Junior Mendes will also be back from international duty.

He may also have a new face in goal with Paul Rachubka thought to be on his way back on loan.

Jackson made five changes last night while Blackpool made nine and he commented:

"I had some harsh words for them at half time because I didn't think we'd played well, but in the second half I got just the response I wanted.

"I was delighted with how we played with 10 men, creating chance after chance and we had two or three good ones to win it.

"It was great for John McCombe and Adnan Ahmed to get their first goals and they both did well, while John McAliskey, Akpo Sodje and Pawel Abbott all did their bit.

"Lee Fowler did okay, too, and the only real disappointment was the way that we conceded the goals."
