PETER JACKSON has escaped a touchline ban!

And Town's manager isn't even going to be fined after being sent to the stands during the 3-2 win over Swansea last Saturday.

The Football Association, who fined Jackson £300 earlier in the season when he was `sent off' against Bristol City, have decided to take no further action after reviewing events at the Galpharm.

Jackson was reported by referee Neil Swarbrick for `confronting an assistant referee (Mick McDonough) in an aggressive manner' after Swansea scored for a 2-0 lead from a throw-in which should have been awarded to Town.

Jackson watched the rest of the match from the directors' box.

Town received a letter from Soho Square today which confirmed the FA `won't be taking any formal disciplinary action' on this occasion but will monitor Jackson's future behaviour.
