Joel Lynch has signed for QPR after four years as a Huddersfield Town player.

The centre back heads to the capital after 129 appearances in the blue and white stripes to start a new chapter of his career.

David Wagner and Dean Hoyle both tribute to the defender who has served the club with distinction on and off the pitch since 2012.

And Lynch leaves on a good note with the supporters that have cheered him for so long.

Plenty were quick to realise exactly why this deal suits Town as well the 28-year-old Lynch.

Defensive reinforcements have already arrived and the time has come for a natural parting of the ways.
