KING JAMES’S School Under 13 team rounded off a successful season with a 2-0 victory against Almondbury High School in the Kirklees Schools cup final.

King James’s took an early lead through Callum Carmody and their second came from a 25-yard free-kick from centre-back Callum Firth.

King James’s dominated possession throughout the game, but failed to take any more chances.

Almondbury had a good spell in the second half but fine work from Javian Bunyan, James Stanley and William Tunstall kept them at bay.
