VISION Juniors are using Dutch coaching methods to maintain their success.

The club have won numerous trophies both in the Bradford Junior League and in the RCD Huddersfield ranks, which they joined in 2007-08.

The methods used by the Wyke-based club are those developed by famous Dutch champions Ajax of Amsterdam and are known as TIPS.

This stands for techniques, intelligence development, personality development and finally speed and fitness.

The theory is that to be the best you need to copy the best, and Vision believe they try to incorporate Dutch attacking play, Brazilian flair, Italian defending techniques and German organisation – allied to their own determination.

Their philosophy is based on modern coaching methods and old-style ethics of discipline and respect.

Players of all abilities, ethnic and cultural backgrounds are welcome and will be put into the appropriate team.

Vision were formed by Tibor Szabo in 2005 to offer the highest level of coaching to all players.

Szabo, a PE teacher, is a UEFA Level 4 qualified coach and Football Association Examiner (Level 5 is the highest and is held only by Premiership managers).

He is a former professional and semi-professional player with Bradford City, Macclesfield Town, Morecambe and Accrington Stanley.

In addition, he has coached for Bolton Wanderers, Burnley, Leeds United, Bradford City and Halifax Town’s academies and centres of excellence and in the USA.

He has brought to bear his 20 years of coaching experience at all levels for five to 16 year olds and has progressed numerous players to professional clubs during his time.

Szabo oversees the coaching at Vision while all the team managers are FA Level 1 or 2 qualified and CRB cleared.

Anyone wishing to join the club can contact Szabo on his e-mail at t-szabo@hotmail.co.uk
