TOWN wingman Malvin Kamara was today starting a month on loan with League II Grimsby.
The 24-year-old Sierra Leone international, who has played just twice as a substitute in the Carling Cup for manager Stan Ternent this season, is expected to make his Mariners debut at home to Barnet on Saturday.
Kamara – who joined Town under Andy Ritchie from Port Vale 15 months ago – will not be allowed to play for Grimsby in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
On the bench last Saturday when Town beat Northampton 3-2, Kamara had been due to play in last night’s totesport.com Central League clash with Hartlepool at the Galpharm, which Mick Docherty’s side won 3-0.
Kamara has scored five goals for Town in 38 starts and 14 substitute appearances.
