LEEDS went six points clear at the top of League I with a 3-0 win at Brighton as Charlton were held 1-1 at Yeovil while Colchester, MK Dons and Norwich were all leapfrogged by Town.
Simon Grayson’s Whites, who host Town a week on Saturday, ended former assistant manager Gus Poyet’s successful start as Brighton boss.
Robert Snodgrass, Jermaine Beckford and Neil Kilkenny counted.
Former Town striker Akpo Sodje scored Charlton’s equaliser at Yeovil – after his brother Sam was sent off for a professional foul. The Somerset side had led through Jon Obika.

While Norwich drew 2-2 at Southampton, MK lost 2-1 at Southend on Friday.
