LEE CLARK is confident Town have the back-up power to strengthen their top-six standing before they tackle League I leaders Leeds United in December.
Three out of Town's next four league games are at the Galpahrm Stadium and Clark is determined to use that to his advantage.
He accepts it will take a squad mentality to achieve a big points haul, but believes there is strength aplenty on the bench and beyond to keep Town powering along before the big derby at Elland Road on December 5.
"Theo Robinson keeps coming off the bench and he's got a terrific goal ratio as well as being a constant threat with his pace," said the manager.
"We are now starting to see flashes of 'the real' Lionel Ainsworth, too, while Tom Clarke has given everyone a big boost by returning from injury, and he was our most consistent player at the start of the season.
"Danny Drinkwater, in terms of the technical side of the game, is the best player in the club - that's why he is with Manchester United.
"Andy Butler has done a fantastic job for me in the past, you've got the versatility of James Berrett and, when you look out of the 18, there's Jim Goodwin, a fantastic professional with lots of experience, and Joe Skarz, who has played well for us and also been out on loan (to Hartlepool last season).
"We are about winning games, and you need a squad to do that. We have a great opportunity with three out of the next four league games being at home to make that count and to put pressure on the teams above us."
