DAVID MIRFIN insists pressure is no problem for Town - they just need to hit best form for 90 minutes!
The keen Sheffield United fan has already had one promotion to celebrate and he's keen to be involved in another, but he accepts Town have a lot of hard work ahead starting at Walsall tomorrow (3.00).
"I think we've got enough about us to get three wins out of three for the fans," said the powerful defender, 21 last Tuesday.
"We are at the crucial stage now and, having let everyone down the other night, we've got to go out and do what we say we are going to do.
"Having come so far we are all desperate to make something of the season and we don't want to see all our hopes fritter away.
"When you look back at some of the points we've dropped it's really disappointing to realise how close we are, so we owe it to ourselves and the fans to go out in these last few games and claim that promotion."
Mirfin will be up against Steve Claridge and a Walsall team who've won just once in 20 League outings and are fighting for survival.
"If we get our game together for 90 minutes then we can play anyone off the field," added Mirfin, who could revert to right-back as Peter Jackson is forced to rejig.
