PETER JACKSON wants unchanged Town to revel in the League I leadership as they bid to overcome a tough test against Scunthorpe at the Galpharm tonight (7.45).

The Manager of the Month is targeting a fourth straight win to keep Town top of the pile in front of an expected 14,000-plus crowd.

He accepts Town must maintain hot form, however, against promoted Scunthorpe who are unbeaten in six and whose manager, Brian Laws, has already plotted defeats for Nottingham Forest and Tranmere among others.

"It's going to be a great occasion tonight and the lads will revel in a brilliant atmosphere, but that will count for nothing if we don't win," said Jackson today.

"We are going great and the spirit in the camp is the best I can remember, but it's vitally important we keep on picking up points."

Scunthorpe haven't won in Huddersfield for 43 years, but three-goal striker Billy Sharp will be aiming to put that right tonight and Jackson is keen to register a second home clean sheet.

"Sharp is the obvious danger and the two Clarkes will have key roles in keeping him quiet, but if we keep it tight I'm confident we will create chances and score goals because we are playing some excellent football at the moment," added Jacko.

"Pawel Abbott and Gary Taylor-Fletcher have formed a really good partnership up front and everyone is fired up to do well because of the competition for shirts.

"You only have to look at young Michael Collins, who has stepped into midfield and put in some outstanding performances. That means Mark Hudson will have to work very hard to get back in the side."

Scunthorpe could have Ian Baraclough (ankle) back in their side while club captain Andy Crosby (groin) hasn't been able to train all week and is a doubt.

"They will be coming here to have a go at us and there's pressure because we are top of the League, but I've no doubt myself and the players can handle that pressure," added Jackson.

"If we play like we can, we've no reason to fear anyone in this division."
