What We Have Found Out...

So the guys will be heading back from the pre-match press conference - but what have we learned from that ahead of the weekend clash against Everton?

  1. There are no new injury updates with Kasey Palmer pushing for a place in the matchday squad.
  2. The Town boss is unconcerned about the current run of form - claiming it as ‘a learning curve’ from the massive jump from the Championship to the Premier League.
  3. The German head coach acknowledges his side must start to take their chances in front of goal and remain focused for the full ninety minutes.
  4. Sam Allardyce’s recent appointment as Everton boss is not an issue - Wagner knows what to expect from a Big Sam side.

That's A Wrap!

More on Sam Allardyce...

Even if I’m only in England for 2 years I know how Allardyce sets his team up. I know he played here, I don’t know if it was the most successful period for the club!

On Tactical Changes...

On Kasey Palmer's fitness...

Kasey is fit. It is up to him to show he is a competitor for a starting shirt. We have training in afternoon and we will make a final decision.

Gulf in Class...

Wagner is also quick to state the massive gap between the Championship and the Premier League...

On Premier League Stars and Managers...

Next up are questions on Wayne Rooney and meeting Premier League managers Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger.

After stating Town will have to keep Rooney quiet on Saturday, Wagner had this to say on his managerial counterparts..

We met some top managers last season as well. I can’t say meeting Mourinho or Wenger was ordinary but it did not have major space in my head.
