Huddersfield Town travel to South Yorkshire to face SkyBet Championship strugglers Rotherham United tonight at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

David Wagner’s men will be aiming to continue their excellent run of form which saw the side move up to third in the table with victory over Queens Park Rangers at the weekend.

Town face the Millers without midfielder Jonathan Hogg, who could be out for up to three weeks with a groin injury but defender Christopher Schindler (cut) and forward Harry Bunn (hamstring) should be fit enough to feature.

Meanwhile, the hosts could hand a debut to defender Joel Ekstrand but defenders Aimen Belaid and Darnell Fisher are both expected to miss out with hamstring injuries.

Bringing you all the pre-match news and extensive match comment and analysis is Blake Welton with expert opinion as ever from Doug Thomson – so you won't miss a thing!

Signing Out

Well I’ve got to make the short dash back from South to West Yorkshire now so that is it for today’s LIVE Blog but we will be back on Saturday afternoon as Huddersfield Town face Manchester City.

What a great win it has been for David Wagner’s side this Valentine’s Day and just like any great, loving relationship, it’s tough at times but always worth it in the end.

Until next time, keep following the Examiner website, the Examiner Town Facebook page and @ExaminerHTAFC for all the latest Town news, views and opinion.

Bitter Fans

Just tried to get some post-match video celebrations and a Rotherham United fan came right across my view to block it.....then when he walked past and I mouthed ‘bitter’ he gave me a V with his hand and it certainly wasn’t for Victory.

Guess Valentine’s Day can be a heartbreaker for some...
