Huddersfield Town travel to Hillsborough this afternoon to face fellow SkyBet Championship promotion hopefuls Sheffield Wednesday.

Despite being unbeaten in seven league encounters, Head Coach David Wagner takes his side to South Yorkshire looking for his first win over the Owls after three straight defeats.

Kasey Palmer is a doubt for Town with a hamstring injury while Jonathan Hogg and Rajiv van la Parra (both knee) are definitely out.

Meanwhile, for hosts Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Hooper could return after seven weeks out with a hamstring injury.

New signing Sam Winnall, who joined the club from Barnsley last week, is in the squad while full-back Morgan Fox could also make his Owls debut.

Bringing you all the pre-match news and extensive match comment and analysis is Blake Welton with expert opinion as ever from Doug Thomson – so you won't miss a thing!

Sheffield Wednesday 1 Huddersfield Town 0

54 Minutes: Arguably against the run of play but Ross Wallace has just unleashed a super-strike from 30 yards out which flies into the top corner....think Philip Billing against Cardiff or Nottingham Forest.

HT: Sheffield Wednesday 0 Huddersfield 0

The referee blows for half-time to a chorus of boos from the home side - Huddersfield Town will be happy with that opening 45 minutes though.

Although it’s not been a decent spectacle and not one for the DVD collection so far....
