More than 1700 Huddersfield Town fans made the journey to Ewood Park to cheer on David Wagner's side across the Pennines.
Their loyalty was rewarded with an accomplished display and a 2-0 win - the first on this ground since 1986, and one which all but guaranteed Championship safety.
After a win that Wagner said players and fans should all be happy with, the manager led his team over to the away end and they celebrated together in a brilliant show of Terrier unity.
While some supporters did point out that the opposition didn't offer much of a threat to the Town back line , it was still a scoreline - and clean sheet - to savour.
