It was a happy Boxing Day at the John Smith's Stadium for Huddersfield Town fans, who watched their team put three goals past Preston North End to take all three points.

Prior to kick off, PNE had only conceded 17 goals in 22 Championship games, but the Terriers tore through the back line and could have scored four or five in an excellent second half.

Nahki Wells scored twice for his sixth and seventh of the season and Emyr Huws delighted fans with a goal directly from a corner to end the contest in the 76th minute.

A welcome return to winning ways had Terriers supporters everywhere talking.
