MILLWALL’S 4-0 win over Town helped Lions manager Kenny Jackett (above) earn a nomination for October’s manager of the month award.
The South Londoners went unbeaten in all five games, also beating Bolton and drawing with Bristol City, Crystal Palace and Birmingham.
Middlesbrough’s Tony Mowbray, whose team host Town a week on Tuesday, and Nottingham Forest’s Sean O’Driscoll are the other nominees.
The winner will be announced this morning.
l Leicester midfielder Neil Danns, who was reported to be a target of Town, has joined Bristol City on a month’s loan.
The 29-year-old will go straight into the squad for tomorrow’s clash with Blackpool.
Danns counts Crystal Palace, Birmingham, Colchester, Hartlepool and Blackburn among his former clubs.
He has been with the Leicester since 2011.
