Dean Holroyd, Chris Hartwell and Jaz Gossall were all on target with Chris Munroe scoring twice.
Huddersfield’s win was made even more enjoyable after being 3-1 down at half-time.
League leaders Waterloo, who have a five point lead and three games in hand over First, secured a 7-1 win at White Swan.
Steve Curran, Mulvihill, Hirst, Salm and a hat-trick from Tom Mitchell who returned from suspension helped Waterloo pick up the win.
GMB Meltham fell to a 2-1 defeat in their inter-divisional match against Craven.
Division II side Meltham took the lead through Jamie Taylor but a penalty converted by Shane Kelly levelled the scores. A Dave Brennan goal secured the win for Craven.
And, Athletico Monkey increased their lead at the top of Division I after a 6-2 success at Division II HD One.
Monkey, potentially, could have won the game by more, but had to be content with goals from Mark Bradshaw, Bodsworth, and two apiece for both Sam Barrowclough and Danny Ryan.
