THERE are few clubs famous enough to have been immortalised in as many diverse ways as Town.

Previously honoured as a steam locomotive, a ship and a range of beers, our club is to be further distinguished by being the subject of a musical written and performed in its honour. `Huddersfield Town - The Musical' has its world premiere at Bretton College, but comes to Huddersfield for one night only.

It will be performed in the Banqueting Suite at the Mac at 7.30pm on Tuesday, May 11th.

Tickets are £5 and will be available from the usual sources.

As the Survival Trust heads towards its first anniversary, it continues to run fund-raising events.

The outstanding success of the Winter Balti Night last year, led to immediate calls for a rerun; this takes place next Wednesday, March 31, at La Casa de Balti.

The auction at the last event was tremendously enjoyable and raised hundreds of pounds for the Academy.

This time there will be a `Fun Raffle', where each guest is asked to bring a small fund-raising item, such as a bottle of wine or box of chocolates. The chances of winning a prize should be quite high!

Tickets are priced at £15 each and are available from Committee Members, or from Bookworm, 13 Huddersfield Road, Meltham, or by post from PO Box 1908, Huddersfield HD4 6WT (SAE appreciated).

Details are available from the website www.htfc-supporters-trust.co.uk. Why not pay online by credit card and pick up your tickets on the door? E-mail us at info@htfc-supporters-trust.co.uk for further details.
