New boys Jon Gorenc Stankovic and Aaron Mooy could be in the starting side for Huddersfield Town’s friendly at Oldham Athletic on Saturday.
Slovenian centre-back Stankovic, a £600,000 signing from Borussia Dortmund, featured for the final 30 minutes of Tuesday’s 2-0 behind-closed-doors in over Rochdale at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Australian international Mooy, brought in on a season-long loan from Manchester City, did the same after playing the second 45 minutes as Accrington Stanley were beaten 4-1 in a private match ast PPG Canalside.
Head coach David Wagner is set to start with a number of those who played the final half hour against Oldham’s neighbours Rochdale.
Mooy, 25, has previous experience of Oldham’s SportDirect.com (Boundary) Park.
The 16-times capped player has just joined Manchester City from their sister club Melbourne City on a three-year deal.
Melbourne played at Oldham as part of an English tour two years ago.
The game finished 1-1 and preceded Town’s last visit to the ground, also for a friendly.
The Latics beat Mark Robins’ side 3-1, with Nahki Wells on target for Town.
