TOWN will have a new sponsor and a new shirt next season.

Prime Time Recruitment have parted company with the Galpharm club after four years as top sponsor.

Club officials are already in talks with potential backers, whose name will appear on a re-designed blue and white striped shirt for the 2005-06 League I campaign.

Club chief executive Andrew Watson was tight-lipped over who would replace the recruitment company as main sponsor but promised fans an agreement would be reached quite quickly.

"We have enjoyed a terrific partnership and relationship with all Prime Time directors and staff and I would like to thank them all sincerely for their support," said Watson today.

"We have been working at finding a suitable replacement and, while there has been plenty of speculation over who that will be, the sensitive negotiations with potential sponsors which are currently taking place mean I can't say more.

"However, supporters can rest assured an announcement will be made as soon as possible."

Watson expressed regret at Prime Time's decision to withdraw from the club after a deal which had bridged Town's darkest hours of administration.

While calling it a day at Town, Prime Time will continue to back sport, including 16 football clubs throughout the divisions (including seven in the Premiership), four rugby league teams, Huddersfield Rugby Union Club, the district's Union golf team and more to come over the next few months.

The company's managing director David Gallagher, a Town fan, commented: "I am very sad that we have got to this stage after years of supporting the club through very difficult times and being the most consistent sponsor.

"I very much hope they find a new sponsor quickly and have many future successes."
