Huddersfield Town fell to a disappointing 4-2 defeat away at Brentford in the final game before Christmas.

David Wagner's side conceded three goals inside 35 minutes to lose control of the fixture. The Bees had too much time on the ball and Huddersfield's passing wasn't sharp enough.

However, the boss made two changes at half time, bringing on Nahki Wells and Kyle Dempsey, and within 60 d Joe Lolley pulled a goal back.

Unfortunately, a penalty five minutes later effectively ended the contest although the excellent Dempsey got a deserved consolation in stoppage time.

Here's what Town fans made of the match.

Unfortunately, there was one word on the fans' lips after the second and third goals went in.

Half time tweets were mixed.

Within 60 seconds, Huddersfield had one back.

But penalty killed the momentum.

The away end contained 1,004 loud and proud away fans who received justified praise.

And there was also some positivity to be found at full time.
