LET'S make it nine points out of nine for the first time this season!

Confident manager Peter Jackson is backing Town to do exactly that against bottom club MK Dons at the Galpharm tomorrow (3.00).

Wins against Colchester and Blackpool have rekindled hopes of an automatic promotion place and Jackson said today:

"We're full of confidence and in a great position, so let's make it nine points out of nine.

"If we play like we know we can then I'm sure we'll win, but we can't take anything for granted.

"MK Dons are battling for points for their own reasons and they will be coming here to make it as difficult as possible for us.

"They've also got a real dangerman in Izale McLeod, who I'm surprised is still with them, so we've got to defend properly and with discipline. If Phil Senior and his defence can keep a clean sheet, though, I'm absolutely certain we'll score at the other end."

Loan signing David Graham is bidding to extend his Galpharm scoring record to three in as many appearances as Town also target keeping three successive clean sheets.

Dan Smith (ankle) and Jon Worthington (knee) both missed training yesterday and will have late fitness tests. Andy Holdsworth is standing by to challenge Danny Adams for the left-back slot if Smith misses out.

"We need to start the game well, to keep the ball as much as we can and to be strong defensively," added Jackson.

"I've told the lads we can't afford to give away any silly goals so that we're chasing the game and I get the impression they are in very determined mood.

"We know this is a big chance to pressure the top two and we want to take it."

Town have confirmed their final Category A home fixture of the regular season will be against Barnsley on Saturday April 1.
