A TALE of Two Sat’days, with apologies to Charles Dickens!

First we had the privilege of welcoming almost 300 cyclists back to the Stadium last Saturday afternoon prior to the game against Yeovil – cyclists who have already raised around £250,000 towards Town’s Keep It Up campaign.

Well done to all of them!

As if spurred on by these valiant efforts, Town put on a convincing display to finish the season proper on a winning note – a result made all the better by MK Dons losing at home to Walsall.

This now means a trip away this coming Saturday with the return leg at home next Tuesday.

The Supporters Association are running two coaches to Milton Keynes, leaving at 8.30am from the usual spot at the Stadium. At the time of writing, there were just a few seats still available, priced at £15 for HTSA members with a £2 surcharge for non-members.

There will be the now customary sweepstakes with multiple prizes – look out, too, for HTSA competitions via Twitter. Please contact 07926 165863 if you need to make a late booking.

Many thanks to all those who helped with Robert Pepper’s campaign in the Dalton ward. The healthy number of votes gained has helped to focus public attention on the deadlock over the Stadium shares and HTSA is fully committed to pursuing this with Kirklees.

Finally, would all members of the Heavy Woollen group please note that there is NOT a meeting this evening. Please look out for an announcement once something has been arranged for Jordan Rhodes to receive his Player of the Year award.
