THEY were three points well earned by us.
I thought we were excellent in the first half and, in the second, it took the sending-off of our keeper to even the sides up. I have no quibbles about the sending-off, because Ross Turnbull upended the lad, but I do have to wonder why the referee ruled against Nick Colgan saving the first penalty. It wasn't as though he sprung forward two yards and it looked a very good save to me.
It amazed me it was taken again, but then you look at our penalty at the end and the referee is indicating an elbow was thrown by their keeper, so if it was violent conduct why was he still on the pitch?
I'm confused but happy, which just about sums up how I've felt every day since I came to this club!
