WE didn't 'turn up' in the first half and that cost us dearly.
It was a poor goal to give away, uncharacteristic for us of late, and it was just like it was happening in slow motion. I don't know why it came about, but I'll be having a good look at the video.
I didn't think the referee had much option but to send Brandon off. I know they felt he had been pulled back, but that's not how the officials saw it. To be fair, Huddersfield played well with 10.
Having said that, if you look at the stats with attempts on goal, corners and shots, I think we would be well ahead, so it shows we gave it a go in the second half.
At the end, if there had been 10 minutes left, I would have asked my players to give the ball back when it had been kicked out for an injury, but we were in a desperate situation with time running out. I do apologise, but I would do the same again!
