THE luck was with us but we kept battling to the end.

I know Peter Jackson will be very disappointed losing the match to a goal so late on, especially after the chances Huddersfield have had, but I can't have too much sympathy when we've got three points.

We've now won two on the trot to draw level on points with Torquay and, maybe, people will now start to give us a bit more respect.

There is still a long way to go and we are keeping level-headed about things, but we are in the thick of a battle to stay up and, with these wins, attitudes are changing.

It will be topsy-turvy until the final week of the season, but we will be giving it a real go. Clive Platt's winner came through perseverance and I was pleased for Izale McLeod to get a tap-in for a change.
