WE have been through a lot of trouble and strife these past two months, but the players have worked hard and I thought we deserved this win.

Obviously we are delighted, but it's only a start for us and we have to see if we can take things forward from here.

The two centre-backs have done very well because Booth is still a tremendous header of a ball, but we were organised and knew what we were about.

Stephen McPhail has put his foot on the ball, his quality at times was terrific and, in the first half, we were top class.

In the second, we knew it wasn't going to be pretty and Huddersfield threw the kitchen sink at us, but we stuck to what we had to do and our keeper didn't have a real save to make.

Two clean sheets on the bounce are important to us.
