PETER CLARKE scored a hat trick at Town’s annual awards evening.

The skipper, below, collected the Hargreaves Trophy as Player of the Year for the second season running and also landed the Players’ Player and Media Player of the Year awards.

Anthony Pilkington’s left-foot sizzler against Sheffield Wednesday at the Galpharm in January won him the Goal of the Year prize.

And Jordan Rhodes picked up the Golden Boot award for the second year running after scoring 22 goals in all competitions so far.

The 21-year-old was also named Young Player of the Year, seeing off competition from Scott Arfield, Liam Ridehalgh, Jack Hunt and Benik Afobe.

Greg Pearson, recently awarded a new two-year contract, was named Academy Player of the Year.

Fans chose the FA Cup clash at Arsenal as their Champagne Moment of the Season.

Richard Sykes picked up the Contribution to the Club prize for his work as a volunteer in the ticket office and Town ambassador Andy Booth scooped the Contribution to the Community award.

More than 350 supporters attended the event, which was sponsored by local financial advisors Robertson Baxter.

Town commercial director Sean Jarvis said: “It was the third time we have hosted the annual awards in its current format and it continues to go from strength to strength.”

l Former Town striker Theo Robinson has completed a permanent move from Millwall to their Championship rivals Derby.

He has scored twice for the Rams.
