Huddersfield Town fell to familiar defeat at the iPro Stadium - as David Wagner became the latest in a long line of Town bosses to finish a game away at Derby County empty-handed.

A goal in each half, one each from Chris Martin and Johnny Russell, did the damage for Town - who were unable to really test Scott Carson in the Derby goal, despite having four shots on target.

David Wagner said afterwards he could have few complaints with his team, who had worked hard and he felt deserved better than a 2-0 loss against a team chasing promotion to the Premier League.

But on a day when Leeds, Rotherham, Charlton and MK Dons all won, there were some relegation nerves seeping through the fanbase.

The game against Reading on Tuesday can't come quickly enough.

Here's what Town fans made of the match.

There was certainly mixed feelings after the first goal went in after 31 minutes - with some already giving up hope of any points.

However, once the final whistle blew, many fans were quick to point to the difference in table position, and money spent, between two teams who didn't look too far apart at times.

With Town failing to score for the second game running, many wondered where goals would come from if Nahki Wells was unable to supply them.

After a disappointing result, some chose to look at the teams below them in the table and worry about relegation...

While others felt that was a knee-jerk reaction, and Town are already building for next season in the Championship.

Although Elliott is definitely more impressed with David Wagner than his squad!
