HERE'S the latest news from Peterborough United during the build up to Sunday's huge game at Old Trafford against our very own Terriers.

Peterborough United players and staff will go on an open-top parade of the city and enjoy a civic reception at the Town Hall on Monday (30 May) if they secure promotion to the Championship on Sunday.

On Sunday, Posh will travel to Old Trafford in Manchester to take on Huddersfield Town in the League One play-off final.

If Posh win, the open-top bus will leave the club’s London Road ground at 3pm and travel past the Lido swimming pool and on to Vineyard Road and St John’s Street.

The man with the Duracell lungs has had an astonishing season and it would be no surprise if he turns out to be the matchwinner on Sunday.

It’s all set up for CMS to score his 100th Posh goal (he needs two more for three figures) as he shoots the club to promotion in his last-ever appearance.

He’s a very generous 5/1 joint favourite to score the first goal at Old Trafford with Ladbrokes.
