WHAT did you make of Huddersfield Town at Preston North End?

Below are the ratings from Examiner Huddersfield Town reporter Doug Thomson while the fans' ratings are on page two.

IAN BENNETT
Made a first start in 14 in place of injured Alex Smithies and produced a decent show with some solid saves. 7

CALUM WOODS
The industrious left-back was another to pick up a booking as Town were sometimes stretched down the flanks. 6

JACK HUNT
Back from a two-match ban for 10 bookings, he picked up another as he struggled to deal with lively Danny Mayor. 5

SEAN MORRISON
Produced a top effort, making telling clearances, tackles and blocks and pushing forward when the chance arose. 8

PETER CLARKE
There was no shirking from the skipper, who was busy at the back and went up front for the final stages. 7

SCOTT ARFIELD
A willing worker on the right side of a three-man midfield, he was also keen to have a go at goal. 6

ANTON ROBINSON
Looked hungry for action and caught the eye early on, but his contribution lessened in the second half. 6

DIEGO ARISMENDI
The on-loan Stoke man played a deep-lying central role but was unable to make his mark on this match. 5

DANNY WARD
There’s no doubting his trickery and talent, but the wideman never got going in this one. 5

JORDAN RHODES
Despite generally poor service, still had a trio of opportunities on a highly frustrating afternoon. 6

GARY ROBERTS
Back for a first start in 14 but like Ward, he was unable to provide the standard of deliveries he’s capable of. 5

SUBSTITUTES
Lee Novak (for Ward, 57mins) 6;
Tommy Miller (for Arismendi, 68mins) 6;
Danny Cadamarteri (for Robinson, 79mins) 5.
