I CAN'T believe I've suffered another injury in my first game back and I'm just hoping it's only a knock and not so bad.

I was just punching the ball out with my right hand and I collided with their striker, stubbing the fingers that I broke last time.

When it happened I thought it had snapped in exactly the same place again because I got the same horrible sensation in my hand.

I had plenty of tape on it, though, and hopefully that has helped to ease the blow.

There was no way I could risk staying on the pitch for the last 10 minutes, though. I knew straight away that the best thing was to go off.

I was getting a fair bit of pain from the injury after the game, but I'm just praying that it's going to be okay.

I missed the equaliser and the winning goal because I was sitting in the dressing room feeling sorry for myself.

I could hear the cheers, though, and I was just hoping they were from our fans, who were brilliant all through the game. I think we had as many fans there as Stockport did.

Funnily enough, I really fancied us to win. Normally I never say anything about up-coming games, but I told all my mates to get some money on us to win, so I hope they all did.
