QPR want Huddersfield Town’s on-loan Wigan Athletic midfielder Emyr Huws.
That’s according to a report in The Times newspaper.
It’s claimed Loftus Road boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink wants the 22-year-old Wales international to replace Brazilian Sandro, who has joined West Bromwich Albion.
Huws is on a season-long loan, but Wigan do have a January recall facility.
The former Manchester City man has played 24 times for Town, scoring fives goals.
Those games include the 1-1 Championship draw at QPR in January.
Huws was forced off early in Saturday’s 3-1 home defeat by Cardiff City after taking a knock.
Wigan signed him from Manchester City in September 2014, but he has not played for them this season.<p/>
