FORMER Town striker Danny Cadamarteri, right, faces an anxious wait ahead of the Scottish Cup final tomorrow.

The 30-year-old is desperate to make the Dundee United side for the Hampden showdown with underdogs Ross County.

But he has yet to prove his full recovery from a dislocated shoulder suffered against Rangers a fortnight ago.

“I’ve seen the scans, and the shoulder had been knocked right out,” said United boss Peter Houston.

“He has trained this week but the injury is still causing us some concern.”

Cadamarteri has scored four goals in 23 games since his summer switch from the Galpharm.
