TOWN could well come face to face with old boy Kevin Gallen on the sunshine isle of Ibiza.

The striker, who played in the 2000-01 season under Steve Bruce, is part of the QPR squad for the four-team tournament.

Gallen, pictured in action for Rangers against Town's Nathan Clarke in 2002, and his teammates are in action against the island select side in tonight's opener.

The winners play Town or Coventry in the final on Thursday, the two beaten teams playing a third-place play-off on Wednesday.

While Gallen has been back at Loftus Road, where he came through the youth ranks, since November 2001, boss Ian Holloway parades four new signings.

Goalkeeper Simon Royce has moved across London from Charlton and striker Stefan Moore has also dropped down into the Championship, in his case, from Aston Villa.

The services of long-time target Tommy Doherty have finally been secured, with the Northern Ireland midfielder coming out of contract at Bristol City.

And defender Ian Evatt has moved from Chesterfield.
