READING defender Sean Morrison has joined Huddersfield Town on loan until the end of the season.
The 20 year-old defender joins from the Championship side and will provide cover for Town duo Peter Clarke and Jamie McCombe while Antony Kay continues his recovery from an ankle injury.
Town manager Lee Clark said: "Peter Clarke and Jamie McCombe are doing very well at the moment, but Peter has been carrying a back injury for the last couple of games - although from his performances you wouldn’t know it!
"Antony Kay would be next in line but he is also sidelined with an ankle injury, so I felt it was necessary to bring another centre back in.
"Sean was of interest to us back in January, but he chose to go to Reading instead. That is understandable, they are a big club and are challenging for promotion to the Premier League. We had tracked him for a long time so we know what he is all about, so when he became available we decided to move for him."
