What did Huddersfield Town fans make of the performance in the 3-1 win at Millwall on Saturday?

Town secured a valuable three points in their quest to move further away from the relegation zone and up the Championship standings, as they overcame Nahki Wells' second-half dismissal to see off Ian Holloway's side.

The Terriers took the lead through former Millwall target Sean Scannell, but Stefan Maierhofer pegged them back before Wells was harshly sent off early in the second half after an innocuous collision with Shaun Williams.

But Town rallied and Jacob Butterfield had them back in front when his long-range striker crept through the hands of David Forde before Williams felled Harry Bunn and James Vaughan slotted home from the penalty spot.

Great win at a very intimidating ground with just 10 men against 12 men for most of the match. Awful refereeing for both sides.Graham, Wooldale.

Fantastic "one for all" performance, pity we could not have done the same last week, its this that disappoints Town supporters, we need to be in that mood every week, this team can beat any in the division.David, Wyke.

Dogged display in the first ten minutes of the second half to quell the immense pressure they put on us before taking control of possession and Butterfield's sucker punch. Great atmosphere from the Town fans spoilt by over zealous stewarding.Andy, Manchester.

Guts, determination and no little skill. Really dug in when the appalling ref looked to have scuppered our chances. Great entertainment with fantastic celebrations at the end by all those with an affinity to Town. Well done boys!Darryl, Essex.

What a great performance. Can not understand what Powell was thinking about seeing the bad feeling that was building between Wells and his Milwall opponent. Already booked and committing foul after foul with this ref it was a matter of time. He should have brought on Miller and saved the legs of the 9 out players who were simply brilliant. Well done the players who won in spite of setbacks.Richard, Kirkburton.

An astonishing victory! The last match I saw was away at Norwich, where, in the second half, everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Here we rode our luck defensively and scored a seemingly very fortunate second goal, from then on it was a doddle. Scannell, Vaughan, Butterfield and Bunn deserve a special mention. Wells needs to manage his frustrations better because he could be an outstanding player if he remains calm, which is what a goalscorer needs to do.Philip, London.
