KYEL REID'S venemous volley denied Town three points in their crunch clash with Charlton.

The on-loan Sheffield United midfielder struck on 58 minutes - just five after Jordan Rhodes had put Town in front.

The striker headed his 20th of the season from Gary Roberts' cross, with Reid replying when a penalty-area clearance fell kindly.

Michael Collins came close to clinching it for Town late on, but his shot was palmed away by Darren Randolph.

Town remain seventh in the table, three points off the crucial top six zone with eight games remaining, the first of them at Wycombe next Saturday.
