ROBBIE WILLIAMS fired a sizzling 67th-minute winner as Town came from behind to make it five wins on the spin and go third in League I.
Lee Clark's side went behind 19 minutes into an entertaining game when a resolute Hartlepool scored through Gary Liddle's header.
Town had to work hard, but were bossing the contest by the time the equaliser arrived in the 54th minute, when Peter Hartley put through his own goal after Anthony Pilkington's free-kick thumped against the right-hand post.
Pilkington had hit the bar from a free-kick from a similar position four minutes earlier.
And it was Pilkington's pass that set up Williams for the clincher, the left-back beating two men on a run into the penalty area before firing home right-footed.
