JORDAN RHODES claimed a 50th-minute winner as Town hit back from two down.

Brentford bossed the opening stages and Gary Alexander scored twice by the 29th minute, the first from the penalty spot after  Peter Clarke's foul on Marcus Bean and the second a close-range volley from Niall McGinn's cross.

Alan Lee began the fightback with a controversial 41st-minute headed goal, the visitors claiming keeper Richard Lee had been fouled by the striker.

Jamie McCombe equalised in first-half stoppage time with a header from Danny Ward's cross.

Rhodes won it with his 28th goal of the season, a low diagonal shot from the left-hand side of the penalty area which beat Lee's dive.

Gary Roberts twice hit the bar for the home side.
