Arsenal were among seven Premier League clubs to have scouts at Huddersfield Town’s clash with Brentford.

The Gunners’ teenage Spanish midfielder Jon Toral is on loan to the Bees.

Burnley, Everton, QPR, Swansea City, West Bromwich Albion and West Ham United were the other top-flight teams represented.

Town’s next three opponents, Norwich City (Saturday), Birmingham City (December 20) and Rotherham United (Boxing Day) were watching.

So were Championship sides Blackburn Rovers, Brighton, Cardiff City, Ipswich Town, Wigan Athletic and Wolves and League I Sheffield United.

Wigan were no doubt keeping tabs on Town loan striker Grant Holt, who is due to return to the Lancashire club at the end of December.
