Huddersfield Town Under 21s are Professional Development League II champions.

Already the North section winners, Frankie Bunn's side were 2-1 victors over Sheffield United in the play-off final.

A bumper 4,018 turned out at Bramall Lane to see right-back Jacob Hanson slot an 85th-minute winner.

All the goals came in the final 10 minutes as centre-back William Boyle headed Town in front before Ben Whiteman equalised.

Town coach Frankie Bunn fielded Under 16 keeper Ryan Schofield and Under 18 quartet Jacob Hanson, Regan Booty, Lewis O'Brien and Jack Boyle.

William Boyle, back after a loan spell at York City, was alongside Danny Kane in central defence and Flo Bojaj, who has scored one goal for the first team, at the top of a 4-2-3-1 formation.

The first home chance came on 14 minutes, but Schofield blocked Diego De Girolamo's shot with his legs.

Republic of Ireland junior international Kane was on hand to divert David Brooks' effort away from goal.
