PETER JACKSON says Town must meet Iron with mettle when Scunthorpe visit on Saturday.

The Galpharm manager's hopes of consolidating a top-six place in the League I table were crushed when Brighton won 3-0 at the stadium to put Town back down to ninth place.

A second dismissal of the season for Danny Adams, who will now be suspended for four matches starting against the Iron, compounded Jackson's misery.

And the boss admitted: "The players let myself and the supporters down and they have to put it right against Scunthorpe.

"We can't carry the number of players we had to in Saturday's game, and we didn't have any leaders out there.

"Our home form has been disappointing and we must start producing here."
